While there are no direct flights from Nigeria to India, there are a number of airlines which will stop over in any one of four possible countries depending on the airline of choice. Our recommended airlines are Emirates which stops over in Dubai; Etihad which stops over in Abu Dhabi and Qatar which stops over in Doha. The lay over time in these countries vary, with Emirates and Etihad being two hours while Qatar is for much longer. The total travel time ranges between 10 – 15 hours, depending on whether you chose to travel from Lagos or Abuja (Lagos is generally better in relation to frequency and lay over times).

Other airlines flying to Mumbai are Ethiopian Air which, stops over in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa and Lufthansa, which stops over in Frankfurt, Germany. We advise that you further consult with your travel agent to assist you plan your flight.

The INBF will be hosted in Mumbai, the largest and wealthiest city in India and one of the world’s most populous cities. The city is undoubtedly the commercial capital of India. Mumbai’s nature as the most eclectic and cosmopolitan Indian city is symbolized by the presence of Bollywood within the city, the centre of the globally-influential Hindi film and TV industries.

Weather – The event will hold in the summer, which stretches from April to October. According to the weather guide for Mumbai in September, 2015, maximum daytime temperatures should be about 34°C while nighttime temperatures may be around 25°C. Visitors can also expect 7 hours of sunlight, with moderate heat.

Transport – The means of transport in Mumbai range from the metro trains to the local trains, buses, and mini cabs (auto rickshaw/keke). Guests are advised to take advantage of the city’s registered black and yellow top cabs for commuting purposes.
